Hand-Pinched English Porcelain Dessert Plate with Bouquet Drawing
All plates are hand-cut, pinched, and shaped like sculptural pieces. Once formed, they are slowly dried to prevent warping, then sponged to refine the form. When dry, they spend 24 hours in the kiln for a bisque firing at 1800°F. After cooling and removal from the bisque fire, the pieces are gently hand-sanded and sponge-bathed.
The art is hand-drawn. Careful mark-making balances the playful intention behind each work of art. The base is hand-signed, and the piece is glazed and then fired in a glaze firing for another 24 hours at 2300°F. The period of time from start to finish for one plate is about one month in the making.
Hand-washing is recommended to preserve your future heirloom.

Where are Proche pieces made?
Most pieces are designed and made in small batches right here in New York. Our sweaters and vests are hand knit by artisans in Peru. Each product description says where that piece is made.
How do I find my size?
Tap Size Guide right above the sizes for that piece's chart. Our upcycled denim uses its own 1 to 6 sizing by waist measurement, so measure where you want the waistband to sit. Still unsure? Email support@prochestudio.com and we'll help.
How long does shipping take?
